KPN SOURCING & SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT
Embedding suppliers into a new operating model and creating a structured collaboration capability.
At KPN developments like Cloud, Agile and DevOps were impacting on the most effective sourcing and operating model, requiring a fundamental re-think of the sourcing-to-supply cycle. To this end SOS Partners developed an integrated framework and applied it in 6 major technology domains in KPN. The program led to significant improvements such as:
Business improvement opportunities identified in both technology and business programs
Sourcing and collaboration decisions generated better requirements and role of suppliers which supported more effective and commercial engagement with suppliers
